NAIROBI, KENYA - The Jubilee Party has unmasked the motives behind recent high-profile exits from its ranks, exposing that key individuals framing their departure as political "defections" were actually suspended months ago following serious extortion and misconduct allegations.

Speaking during a joint press briefing at Daraja House, Hon. John Kamangu led a delegation of party aspirants including Hon. Njuguna Mwangi and Hon. Kiminda Muchiri to address the media and set the record straight on the party's official position.

The party revealed that it had received grave complaints regarding suspended officials soliciting money from political aspirants, alongside persistent interference with internal democratic structures. Jubilee leadership stressed that its disciplinary actions were mandatory to safeguard candidate integrity, clarifying that the formal exits are merely the culmination of long-standing insubordination by individuals who used the Jubilee ticket purely for personal political ambition.

"Those who have chosen to pursue other political formations are free to do so, but they should not create the impression that their departure represents the departure of Jubilee members, supporters, or the Nairobi electorate," the party declared.

Refusing to be drawn into endless political theatrics or social media debates, Jubilee announced a complete shift in focus toward grassroots restructuring across Nairobi's wards, constituencies, and county branches. The leaders emphasized that the 2027 General Election will be won by disciplined organizations present in every community, addressing real socio-economic issues like high living costs, youth unemployment, housing, security, and urban transport.

Welcoming new members, women, youth, and entrepreneurs, Jubilee reaffirmed its commitment to offering Nairobi residents a accountable, service-driven alternative built on principles rather than personalities.
