President William Ruto has launched major infrastructure initiatives in Narok County aimed at unlocking the region's vast economic potential. Among the flagship developments is the construction of the 59km Enengetia-Olposimoru road, which is being upgraded to bitumen standard to connect Eneng'etia, Olokurto, Enkuseru, Olposimoru, and Kiptenden. President Ruto highlighted that the upgraded road will significantly ease the movement of agricultural produce to markets, giving a strong boost to trade in a region known for producing vegetables, maize, wheat, and dairy goods.

Alongside the road construction, the President announced a Sh2.8 billion government investment dedicated to expanding electricity access across Narok County. He also revealed that the long-awaited Narok Airport will be operational within the next few months.

These initiatives coincide with several ongoing infrastructure projects in the county, including the 40km Suswa-Inkorionito-Naiekia-Enkare road in Narok East, the Ololung'a-Ewaso Ng'iro road, and the Ololung'a-Sogoo-Saptet-Mulot road, which is now nearly 60 percent complete. Additionally, tarmacking of the Ngoswani-Naikarra-Morijo road is actively progressing, with 30km already finished. President Ruto reaffirmed the government's commitment to transforming the county through strategic investments to enhance livelihoods and local commerce.
