In a powerful show of unity and political strength, H.E. Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka led a grand opposition rally in Embu Town, Embu County, alongside co-principals H.E. Rigathi Gachagua, Hon. Eugene Wamalwa, Hon. JB Muturi, and Hon. Martha Karua. The rally marked a new chapter in the opposition’s coordinated campaign against the Kenya Kwanza administration, sending a clear message that the movement remains strong, strategic, and determined to bring change.

Addressing thousands of energized supporters, Dr. Kalonzo Musyoka made it clear that his political journey is founded on integrity and national conviction, declaring firmly, “Kalonzo si Gideon Moi. Siwezi enda kwa Ruto.” The statement was met with loud applause from the crowd, reaffirming his unwavering stance as a leader guided by principle, not convenience.

Kalonzo strongly criticized President William Ruto’s leadership, accusing him of exercising dictatorial tendencies and comparing his rule to that of Adolf Hitler. He called out Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire, urging her to heed the will of the people and lead with humility and fairness. He further condemned the government’s increasing use of intimidation tactics, including labeling innocent Kenyans as terrorists, saying such actions are designed to instill fear and silence the opposition.

In a spirited appeal to Generation Z, Kalonzo encouraged the youth to take charge of their future by registering as voters and making their voices count through the ballot, urging them to “piga Ruto risasi kwa ballot.” He emphasized that the ballot remains the most powerful weapon against bad governance.

The rally, attended by prominent figures including Rigathi Gachagua, JB Muturi, Eugene Wamalwa, and Martha Karua, signaled renewed hope and commitment to a united opposition. Together, they vowed to safeguard Kenya’s democracy and restore dignity to the nation’s governance.
