Veteran Kenya Prisons Athlete Ruth Mwende Bags 3 Gold and 1 silver medals At The 13th Open Africa Masters Championships 2021, The COUNTY DIARY reports.




Ruth Mwende Muthuka, a retired Prisons Sergeant clocked record time winning 3 Gold Medals in 200m,100m and 4*100m and a silver medal in 60m track events in the 65-69 years category.



Her daughter, Kenyan Prions senior officer and master athlete SP Elizabeth Muthuka won 4 gold medals in 200m, 400m, 4*100m and 4*400m track events in the 45-49 years category, media reports said

Sports CS Amina Mohamed graced the closing of the championiships competition at Nyayo Stadium.
