Hon Mutua Katuku Condoles Konzolo Family

CONDOLENCES MESSAGE BY HON. JOHN MUTUA KATUKU EGH , PARTY LEADER PEOPLES TRUST PARTY , ON THE PASSING OF HON JOSEPH KONZOLO MUNYAO EGH 

 

It is with immense sorrow and deep personal pain that on my own behalf, my family, Katuku  Musembi family and People's Trust Party fraternity, I  extend our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Hon Joseph Munyao , a gallant son of Kenya, a statesman of towering stature, and a symbol of the democratic struggle in our nation.

 

Hon Munyao was more than a political leader; he was a visionary leader who shaped the political landscape of Kenya with unmatched courage, conviction, and resilience. From his days as a fearless advocate of human rights and for multiparty democracy, to his tenure as MP Mbooni, assistant Minister,Minister and DP Secretary General and Democratic Party Leader ,he dedicated his life to the pursuit of a just, inclusive, and equitable Kenya.

 

As a man of the people, he walked with the oppressed and gave voice to the voiceless. His contributions to constitutional reform, devolution, and good governance have laid the foundation for a more participatory and transparent political order. His legacy is deeply embedded in the 2010 Constitution. I also acknowledge Hon Joseph Munyao commitment to national development , Ukambani and Mbooni  in particular and his long-standing advocacy for inflastruture development, agriculture and livestock development .

 

Personally, I had the privilege of walking alongside Joseph Munyao in the trenches of political reform and national dialogue. He was not only a colleague but also a friend, a mentor, and a true patriot. His wisdom, tenacity, and unwavering love for Kenya will be missed dearly.

 

To the Children ,grand children , the entire Munyao family, friends,DP members ,supporters, and all Kenyans, we share in your grief during this dark moment. May you find strength in the remarkable life Joseph Munyao lived and in the enduring legacy he leaves behind.

 Kenya has lost a leader, but his dream lives on in all of us.

 May his soul rest in eternal peace.
