Kalonzo Pays Tribute to Late Ben Robert Omariba Onwonga in Nyamira County By Maximilla Wafula  Political Reporter  The County Diary News  On March 31, 2025, the People's Loyal Coalition Principal, H.E. Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, visited Nyamira County to pay tribute to the late Ben Robert Omariba Onwonga. Dr. Musyoka eulogized Mr. Onwonga, who passed away on March 12 after a prolonged illness, remembering him as "a close friend known for his warmth, humour, and kindness, who recognized the importance of education in transforming lives." Accompanying Dr. Musyoka were Democratic Action Party-Kenya (DAP-K) Party Leader Eugene Wamalwa, Kitui County Woman Representative Hon. Speaking at an investor conference in Nairobi, Lands, Public Works, Housing, and Urban Development Cabinet Secretary Hon. Alice Wahome emphasized Kenya’s annual housing deficit of 200,000 units, driven by rapid population growth and urbanization.
