NAIROBI, Kenya September 5, 2024— The E4Impact Entrepreneurship Center celebrated a pivotal moment today at its headquarters in Karen, Nairobi, with a grand event highlighting the graduation of its accelerator and incubator program cohorts, the initiation of a new group of entrepreneurs, and the inauguration of state-of-the-art training facilities.
The occasion was attended by notable figures, including H.E. Roberto Natali, the Italian Ambassador to Kenya, Hon. Susan Mang’eni, Principal Secretary of the State Department of MSME Development, Mr. Giovanni Grandi, Director of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), and Prof. Mario Molteni, CEO of the E4Impact Foundation. Their presence emphasized the significance of this milestone and the ongoing partnership between international supporters and local enterprises.
The event marked the successful completion of a rigorous 12-month program by 39 innovative enterprises. Of these, 29 completed the Accelerator program, designed to scale high-potential ventures, while 10 graduated from the Incubator program, aimed at nurturing early-stage startups. This achievement highlights a substantial step forward in empowering entrepreneurs to drive economic development and social impact.
Participants benefited from an extensive range of resources during their time in the programs. This included specialized training in business strategy, financial management, marketing, investor readiness, and impact measurement. The program also provided valuable networking opportunities, enabling participants to connect with potential investors and boost their market visibility. This comprehensive support equipped the graduates with the necessary skills for sustainable success in competitive environments.
The newly inaugurated facilities are expected to further enhance the center’s capabilities. Designed to support a larger number of entrepreneurs, these cutting-edge resources will foster a culture of innovation and bolster the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Africa.
