In a resounding return to Thika Road, Naivas, the prominent retailer in Eastern Africa, proudly inaugurates its 103rd branch, marking the second opening this year. Just a month prior, the retailer celebrated the launch of its 102nd outlet at Mwanzi Market in Westlands. The new Survey branch brings the total count in the greater Thika Road region to 12, encompassing all store formats operated by Naivas.

Strategically positioned within a mixed-use development, the outlet boasts complementary businesses, including a multinational fast-food chain and a petrol station. This synergy aims to meet the diverse needs of every shopper, ensuring a seamless experience. Beyond accessibility from the highway, the store stands out for its diverse inventory, offering quality products ranging from fresh produce to commodities and fast-moving consumer goods.

Andreas von Paleske, Chief of Operations at Naivas, acknowledged the significance of this milestone, recognizing Naivas as the first supermarket in Kenya to surpass the 100-branch mark. He highlighted the robust foundations laid by the Mukuha family and the strategic partnership with IBL, a consortium of investors with a 190-year legacy in global family business.

Maintaining their commitment to providing a world-class shopping experience, Naivas aligns its outlets with global standards while preserving authentic Kenyan hospitality. Peter Mukuha, Chief of Operations at Naivas, emphasized the brand's dedication to saving customers money, especially during challenging times, and teased upcoming surprises for Survey customers.

As Naivas continues to make history, with Lang’ata and Buruburu outlets on the horizon, the retailer remains a beacon of success and customer-centric values in the region.
