Nairobi, a leading comprehensive Cleft  care centre by Belu Risu medical center today celebrated its its 1year  Anniversary of extra-ordinary service to the people of Nairobi and beyond. We recognize and celebrate the remarkable achievements and invaluable contributions of the Bela Risu Foundation in our beloved city.

Speaking during the anniversary nominated senator Veronica Maina who was the chief guest accompanied by Mr. Kefa Omanga , Director-Donor Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement
Office of the Governor, said that "the Bela Risu Foundation has demonstrated an unwavering commitment in  providing healthcare services that go beyond the conventional  dedication in offering  FREE life-changing, dignifying, and hope-restoring surgeries to individuals affected by craniofacial deformities is nothing short of inspiring Furthermore, their promise to deliver top-tier, patient-cantered cleft care in under-resourced healthcare setups is commendable" she said .


In the spirit of collaboration and shared responsibility, the Nairobi County Government is equally committed to the well-being of its people. Our vision is to transform the city into a haven of order, dignity, hope, and opportunity Healthcare services are a fundamental devolved function in our county, and they provide a vital avenue for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being.

The collaboration has rooted in innovative and realistic solutions, coupled with their advocacy efforts grounded in local expertise and local solutions, truly prioritizes equitable and accessible healthcare. 

Through their endeavours, they have  aligned themselves with the global goals of universal health coverage, sustainable development, and global surgery. With the support of donors and partners, have already transformed over 7,000 lives through FREE cleft surgeries, bringing hope and happiness to countless families. Bringing a testament to their dedication and impact on our community.

"We boast a network of 102 health facilities and a dedicated team of over 7,500 community Health Volunteers and more than 6,000 healthcare workers on our payroll. Our commitment to providing both preventive and curative healthcare services is resolute, with the ultimate aim of improving the quality of life for our citizens and urges all stakeholders to  consider this moment as a call to action in our shared pursuit of greater service to humanity.
