THE LAUNCH OF AFROASIAN INSTITUTES FOR SRATEGIC STUDIES

Today the afroasian institute for strategic studies has launched studies fostering intellectual discourse and in-depth analysis on key issues the affecting the horn of Africa under the theme: “navigating the challenges across the region”.

Speaking during the two - day conference held at Sarova Pan Afric hotel in Nairobi Sheikh. Abdirahman Mursal of Al- Ansar group of schools noted that the conference aims at bringing more ideas that can take Africa forward and stop any confrontations whether it’s territorial, spiritual, maritime or ethnic based clashes and how they can stop as Africans and unite themselves in common interest.

“The conference has brought guest all over the Horn of Africa and the world including  former Deputy Speaker Farah Maalim Mohamed , as we aware at the beginning of the year the was memorandum of understanding between Somaliland and Ethiopia in access of the  Ethiopia sea .

The memorandum of understanding brought tension to African union, United States and all over the world    the institute was today launching principles on how to bring the horn of Africa together and work on their own interest.
He further mentioned the structures and strategies to be put place there is a common enemy that is alshabab that needs to be fought back. The two day conference will end tomorrow where they will complete discussion of be challenges affecting the Horn of Africa and come up with solutions.
