New popular Mui Ward MCA Hon Cornelius Muthami will tackle water and education as his first priority at the helm, The COUNTY DIARY reported.

"Over 2000 households in Mui Ward do not have access to clean drinking water. More and more people in my ward are in acute need of food, and even more may lose their lives to hunger due to perennial water problems. My priority will be tackling water and Education.

Famine is looming in many parts of the Mwingi, and now is the time for all of us to translate our political commitments into concrete action" added the MCA speaking at the sidelines of the orientation exercise that ended last week.
