Meet Mary Mbithe Musili, A Trained Pilot and A Wiper Nominated MCA For Kanyangi In Kitui Rural

By PATRICK KIMANZI / The COUNTY DIARY

Mary Mbithe Musili is the Wiper Party Nominated MCA for Kanyangi Ward in Kitui Rural Constituency.

The legislator is also a Trained Pilot.

Speaking to The COUNTY DIARY, she gave us her life story - delve in;

"I am a trained Pilot which is a lucrative Job that every person would dream of but my passion has been always in politics because since I was young have been so passionate about good governance for true development.

Due to this passion right after college at 22yrs in 2017 I contested for Kanyangi Ward MCA seat but since I was so young and naive then people din't trust me with their votes and therefore I lost.

 Since even after failing there is always a chance to fight again I never gave up, I went back to school to further my education where I complited my Pilot course and due to my passion in leadership I did a course in Political science.

All this time I dedicate my time in helping the top Leadership of Wiper political party where I used to volunteer in various capacities to strengthen the party leadership in the country.

Out of this dedication to the party when slots for Nominated MCAs was advertised I applied and luckily my name was picked and I appeared in the Kenya gazette as wiper democratic Movement Nominee.

People wondered why with such a lucrative job I accepted the nomination,  but this was all my dream and passion to be in leadership and using my time to help my people of Kanyangi  who have suffered for so long due to lack of development.

I want to take this opportunity to thank WIPER party for believing in me and offered me this opportunity. I want to most sincerely thank the Party through their top leadership organs lead by our party leader Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka.

I will used this opportunity not only to help the people of Kanyangi but through legislation and representation help the entire Kitui county in conjunction with my fellow MCAs in the assembly.

I got a soft heart for the youth and young girls which am taking it upon myself to go round the county for motivation talks and give them hope for life since many of them are going through so many difficulties in life.
