Malaria has been a threatening menace to many Nations and people.It is the world’s number one killer disease which has claimed many lives in our society & child mortality rates are very high due.
Neccesary measures should be taken to control the spread of this disease especially at the rural areas. Despite health being a devolved function,it doesn't mean that leaders can't chip in and assist where necessary.
Therefore, with the able leadership of Hon Ndile at helm of Women Representation in Kitui, she will be at the forefront to lobby for proper legislation and close monitoring of programs so that our people's lives can be saved.
As for now, the government has been giving mosquito nets to only expectant mothers and and to those who have children below five years.
This has made malaria control impossible because it only protects the mother and the child leaving other family members exposed to mosquitoes and Malaria.
It is in this case that Hon.Ndile will petition the government through parliament to provide nets freely to all people whether they have children or not; because all lives matters.
With this approach of everyone to be sleeping under a treated net,the county will reduce malaria to almost zero! Some issues needs good policies which in turn will help our people!
"Kenya is crying & Kitui is crying even louder !! where are those leaders who have the people in their heart?" poses Ndile.
Now we are changing the narrative by electing hon Esther Ndile for good health of our people!! Viva mama💪
It is important to note that Hon Ndile has been very vocal to speak out against the lack of medical supplies and recently, while at the funeral held in Mutonguni and later another in kyuso, she boldly let the county officials present that they have been lying to kitui residents about the state of the health care system in kitui.
She is standing up for all kituians in ensuring the health policy & sector is revamped to better serve its citizens.
