Kitui County Minister Trashes Expired Maize Story As 'Fake and Ridiculous'

A popular Kitui County Government Minister has come out guns blazing and denied a Fake News report being peddled on social media that the foodstuffs donated by the benevolent Ngilu Administration to a phalanx of destitute Mwingi North squatters was stale, The COUNTY DIARY can reliably report.

Terming the report as ridiculous, the Minister said that;

 "Everyone knows that this nonsense report originated from a well known 'malicious blogger out to malign the good name of The Kitui County Government administration and we deny it in total - Skymoon is a well known political mercenary and does not deserve your time" said the Minister.

Skymoon wrote that;

"We established that the Unga was procured by the cartels from a local supermarket where it was set for destruction after its shelf life had expired" read the Skymoon Post.

But minister, firing salvos added that the pictures posted on the internet were doctored using a popular image-manipulation software to attain a certain end and paint the Kitui County Government in bad light.

For example, Skymoon admits his utter and shocking lack of reliable information, for example, he wrote;

"Our desk is trying to find out how much was spent on the expired products, a figure that would most likely be overblown by the stealing cartels to make a quick buck".
