Coca-Cola Unveils ‘Coke with Meals’ Campaign to Celebrate Everyday Dining Moments in Kenya

By Maximilla Wafula,

Nairobi, March 2026  The Coca-Cola Company has officially launched its vibrant ‘Coke with Meals’ campaign in Kenya, marking a fresh push to connect the iconic beverage with everyday dining experiences across the country.

The campaign celebrates the simple yet powerful moments shared over meals whether it is a quick lunch with friends, street food after work, or a family dinner at home. At its core, the initiative highlights how a chilled Coca-Cola enhances not just the taste of food, but also the joy and connection that come with shared meals.

Speaking during the launch, Monique Katana, Director of Frontline Marketing at Coca-Cola, emphasized the brand’s long-standing relationship with Kenyan consumers. She noted that food remains a strong cultural connector, bringing people together across generations and backgrounds.

“Coca-Cola believes in the magic of shared meals. Through this campaign, we celebrate ‘A Recipe for Magic’ where great food, unique atmospheres and a refreshing Coca-Cola transform ordinary moments into extraordinary experiences,” she said.

Implemented in partnership with Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, the campaign aims to deepen the brand’s presence beyond traditional celebrations, positioning Coca-Cola as a daily companion at the table. It recognizes that for many Kenyans, even the smallest achievements completing tasks, landing opportunities, or simply getting through the day deserve celebration.

The initiative will target urban centers including Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, and Nakuru, with a strong focus on Gen Z consumers aged 18-25, while also appealing to families and millennials.

Through digital storytelling, social media campaigns, and collaborations with food influencers and chefs, Coca-Cola aims to authentically embed itself in Kenya’s vibrant food culture. Activations will also take place in local communities, from restaurants and cafés to street food spots where everyday life unfolds.

Beyond marketing, ‘Coke with Meals’ is positioned as a cultural conversation one that reflects the evolving lifestyle of Kenyans and their connection to food and shared experiences.

As Coca-Cola continues to innovate and adapt to changing consumer habits, the campaign reinforces its role not just as a beverage, but as a familiar and accessible companion in everyday life turning ordinary meals into memorable celebrations.
