The new crop of selfless leaders needed in Ukambani

1. Hon Esther Kalunda Ndile is a seasoned politician, being a front runner of the 2022 Women Rep seat for Kitui County where she emerged third position from a hotly contested race of six strong women leaders.

2. Hon Ndile is a former nominated MCA for Mutonguni Ward (2017-2022). She is a professional holding a Masters degree in Public Health, with a wealth of experience in community service & resource management. She is also an adept resource mobilizer with programs under her own initiative such as Wamama na Essie that has empowered hundreds of women economically across Kitui County.

3. ⁠Hon Kalunda Ndile's vision is and has been promoting Women-centric Empowerment while advocating for increased access to technological opportunities and education in the digital age for young girls and boys at the grassroots level.

4. ⁠As a former Vice Chairperson of the County Assemblies Forum (CAF), Hon Ndile served diligently with the National government & several government agencies, in collaboration with The Senate of Kenya, while serving all the 47 counties.

5. ⁠She became a legislative guru through participation as a delegate in several international fora on legislation including but not limited to NCSL( National conference on State Legislators) held in various USA states including Los Angeles -California, Nashville-Tennessee & New York City among others during her tenure at CAF.
6. ⁠ Hon Ndile is the Patron of The Steve Ndile Scholarship Program domiciled at Ujana Afrika, a Social enterprise advocating for TVET and she is currently supporting more than 20 needy youth to access & pursue technical and Vocational Education and training at The Technical University of Mombasa, Kiambu National Polytechnic, Kabete National Polytechnic and Nairobi TTI ( _TVET & Skills training are the future for our youth)

7. Mama Badilisha loves and is passionate to mentor youth especially in the local TVETs. She has mentored many youth leaders and notably her youth mentee & former PA at the Kitui County Assembly Purity who hails from her home ward (not related) and sponsored her to pursue technical training at The Machakos Technical Institute for the Blind, not forgetting mentoring her own daughter Amb Lynette Ndile, who is currently Kenya's youngest Ambassador, serving as a Deputy Head of Mission in Beijing, China. 

8. She is a passionate advocate of Women Empowerment and has conducted hundreds of Leadership training programs across the country and abroad. 

9. Ndile Kalunda participated and represented Kenya in the 63rd & 67th Sessions respectively, of The Commission on The Status of Women ( CSW), held at The United Nations General Assembly in New York City ( NYC) in the United States of America. 


10. ⁠Hon Ndile has been supporting & funding Basic education students from various wards in Kitui, through support of school fees & providing educational materials  to destitute kids from needy families. 

11. ⁠Her popular Socio-Economic initiative dubbed Wamama Na Essie supports over 1000 women groups  for small enterprises & start-up capital across Kitui County ( _It is evidence-based when you empower a woman you have empowered the whole family/ community_).

12. ⁠Hon Kalunda Ndile is a staunch Christian who highly upholds family values and a Woman of faith expressing TOTAL trust in God.
