Senatorial Aspirant Hon Allan Sila Kithome Insists On Oversight Mandate As Key to development in Kitui County

By PATRICK KIMANZI & MAXIMILLA WAFULA

Kitui Senatorial Aspirant and political analyst Hon Allan Sila Kithome has insisted on Oversight of County funds as the key mover in development of the region, media reports said today.

Speaking to reporters in Kitui town, the resourceful administrator and technocrat politician placed the blame squarely on the current senator.

"It's a shame to note that nothing has changed in the way things are being done in Kitui. Both Malombe and Ngilu regimes had a free ride since the senator has been sleeping on the job.

My work is clearly cut for me since i am well versed with senatorial duties including but not limited to national revenue allocated to the County levels of government through the Division of Revenue Bill, amongst the county governments; i.e. the County Allocation of Revenue Bill under Article 218(b)of the Constitution. I will see to it that every coin is accounted for to the benefit of the defranchised electorate" said Hon Sila Kithome popularly known as Senator Matu, speaking to reporters at Kitui hotel.

Hon Sila Kithome, a polished businessman with a wealth of experience in community service & resource management is also the founder of JOYSILA FOUNDATION whose response to disasters and epidemics including the Coronavirus has been unmatched to date.
