Music Copyright Society of Kenya has called for collaboration between different stakeholders including the creatives, private sector players, Government and consumers . He also stated that they are  partnering with international music companies and organizations to leverage on ICT in expanding the market for artists.

Furthermore over 250 international gospel artists will be coming to Kenya in July under the banner "Gospel Through Music" (GTM) to identify and nurture talents, promote partnerships and exchange programs with local artists. The CISAC Deputy President in charge of Africa Yvonne Chaka Chaka will be present  to promote collaboration between CMOs in the East African region. The culmination of the tour will be a  Night of Worship concert in Nakuru.

The creative economy being  one  of the most lucrative sectors of the economy and some of the richest people in the world are creatives, there's no reason why our talented artists should continue to wallow in poverty.

Music Copyright Society of Kenya urges all artists to put all hands on deck and use their talents to create jobs and wealth.

To achieve this, the Government must create  an enabling environment for artists to do business and  help in the fight against piracy , protect Intellectual property rights of its citizens in line with the constitution , They must also  provide enforcement of the law and assist with programs for mentorship.
