  BY PATRICK KIMANZI Malaria has been a threatening menace to many Nations and people.It is the world’s number one killer disease which has claimed many lives in our society & child mortality rates are very high due. Neccesary measures should be taken to control the spread of this disease especially at the rural areas. Despite health being a devolved function,it doesn't mean that leaders can't chip in and assist where necessary.  Therefore, with the able leadership of Hon Ndile at helm of Women Representation in Kitui, she will be at the forefront to lobby for proper legislation and close monitoring of programs so that our people's lives can be saved.  As for now, the government has been giving mosquito nets to only expectant mothers and and to those who have children below five years.
