1. Hon. Stephen Mbaya Kimwele is the incoming MCA for KIVOU WARD set to represent the electorate at the KITUI County Assembly.




2. A Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K) and Financial Management professional Hon. Stephen Mbaya posses excellent  executive administration skills, business development abilities, good resource mobilization abilities and Public governance


3. The politician, born and bred in Thitha Village, Enziu sub location, Kivou Ward, Mwingi Central, in Kitui County is force to reckon with both in Mwingi Central Constituency and Kitui County.


4. He is a humble, resilient, self motivated, aggresive, just, married man of integrity with high ethical standards and a member of Thitha African Inland Church (AIC)


5. He has over 10 years experience in Business Administration, Leadership, Strategic Management and Public Governance.


6. He has vast experience in Hospital Management and Oil & Gas industry.


7. His proactiveness a Team Leader can be gauged from the fact that he was  competitively elected at the University Student's Union.


8. He is currently the Board of Management (BoM) Chairman at Thitha Secondary School.




9. He is a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).


10. He is pursuing Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D.)- Finance at the University of Nairobi (UoN)- Ph.D candidate.


11. He holds Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA)-Finance and Bachelor of Commerce Degree (BCOM)-Finance.


12. He is an alumni of Migwani Boys Secondary School and Thitha Primary Schools



13. He has published several articles in peer reviewed journals and can be accessed online.


14. He has passion to serve people- people's servant and supports the BBI Blueprint and Hon. Gideon MULYUNGI escalated development record in Mwingi Central Constituency.


15. He has supported various development projects in the community, Mwingi and the country at large.


16. Last but not least, Hon Mbaya is well steeped in Kamba Customary Law and a 'Certified Expert' Dowry Negotiator in East Africa.
