Africa Online Safety Fund announces grant winners

By MAXIMILLA WAFULA The COUNTY DIARY NEWS  Wezesha Innovation Foundation Kisumu The Africa Online Safety Fund (AOSF) has announced the winners of this year’s grants, among them four organisations operating in Kenya: Boltech Consultancy, Terre des Hommes Netherlands Foundation in partnership with Childline, Watoto Watch Network, and Wezesha Innovation Foundation.  The selection of the 22 winning organisations from seven countries was announced by Impact Amplifier (IA) from its headquarters in Cape Town, South Africa.  Brian Obilo From  Boltech Consultancy Kenya . Kenya and Ghana each had four winning entries, while South Africa had five and Nigeria with six, had the highest number of awards.  Cameroon, Somalia and Zimbabwe each had one winner.  Although the winning organisations reflect seven countries their internet safety interventions span across 15 African countries in total.
