Outlining his development record that has seen massive upgrades of schools infrastructure, roads and drifts, Simon reiterated his quest to represent the people at the Kitui County Assembly in 2027. "I hold similar sentiments and would like to work with Mulyungi to escalate development in MUI when the time comes. Peninah Malonza, OGW, Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage has today opened the International Ice Hockey Tournament at Panari Hotel on Wednesday , 4th January , 2023 .  The Cabinet Minister emphasized that Sports tourism is one of the fastest growing sectors in tourism, due to the increased number of sporting events being held around the world.
